Got to get healthy!
Anonymous asked: Sometimes I just need inspiration. I joined weight watchers, and i usually do good right around the start of the week, the further into it i get, the more i get caught up with how busy my life is and eat really badly. Help me?
I leave myself little notes around the house to remind myself why it is i am doing what I am doing, and make sure you PLAN PLAN PLAN!!! I am super busy too, so on a Sunday night, I plan what I am having for breakfast lunch and dinner everyday that week, and then prepare what I can that night… That way there is no excuse for that “oh I’m just too busy excuse”. Lastly tell someone about it, either your best friend, your partner, or a work colleague… that way you are accountable to someone, and when you are feeling like that block of chocolate you can call them and get them to distract you from it, or encourage you to go on that run…
Most of all, don’t give yourself too much of a hard time, we are human, so bound to make mistakes, just remember that just because you made a mistake, doesn’t mean you should throw the towel in.. just start back on to your healthy eating as soon as you can xx :)
mynameisartwhoareyou asked: I've been eating less (about 1200-1600 cals a day) and exercizing more (I went to the gym 4 times this week and in a day I should burn about 2500 cals) yet I'm gaining the weight I've lost. What am I doing wrong?
You are probably gaining lean muscle… remember the kilos aren’t the important part, its the body fat %. Go and purchase a set of body fat scales and keep an eye on THAT number, not just the kilos. :) xx
mangokamiii asked: Do you do boxing? & if you do, how can I get started? I'm kinda scared to since I'm a girl but boxing looks so cool & exciting. Also, if I do start, will I start to get a bulky and boyish figure? Because I've got an hourglass shape that I'd like to keep.
I have an hourglass figure too, and i find that it doesn’t give girls a boyish figure… I think that comes down to genetics rather than what exercise you choose to do… I started at my gym, they had a cardio boxing class which was just with a bag, and you can go to boxing gyms and just say that you don’t want to do any contact… It is HEAPS of fun, and an awesome workout.. Don’t worry about the girl factor, there were more girls in my boxing class than there were boys… you certainly won’t be on your own.
